SUMMARY:Shared Abundance Dinner
DESCRIPTION:If you have attended a free summer concert in Depot Park\, taken a drawing class\, enjoyed the Brush & Palette annual exhibition or seen the work of our budding young artists on dazzling display in the Steele Street Mall during Youth Art Month every March\, you have experienced a taste of what the Lee County Arts Council does every day\, all year around\, in our community. These are just a few of the events and arts projects that receive financial and logistical support from the Arts Council. The group's annual fundraiser\, "Shared Abundance\," puts a spotlight on Lee County potters. You select a bowl made by a local potter and fill it up from a wide selection of homemade soups\, add fresh salad and bread\, and sit down to enjoy a meal with your family and friends. You can take home your beautiful bowl to start or expand your personal collection of local pottery art. The Temple Teens will add energy and melody to the Sunday after-church event. In addition\, tribute will be paid to Neola Cole\, one of Lee County's master potters\, whose recent death was an enormous loss to the Lee County artistic community and to her friends and family
